Owner, Tim Woods, worked for almost 20 years in the roofing sector, covering all aspects from manufacturing and installation through to sales and management, before an opportunity came up in December 2022. With family backing, Tim purchased an existing building and roofing business, before refocusing it on roofing and making it his own. “Before that, I’d spent nine years working as a regional sales manager for a large roofing manufacturer that involved a lot of travel out of the region, so it was great to be able to step across into my own business and focus on serving the community here,” says Tim, who leads a capable team covering residential reroofing through to large commercial projects. Employing a team of 10 staff, including three apprentices, Profile Roofing Marlborough brings a good balance of skills and experience to every job. “Most of my staff have been with me long term. We’re really focused on having a family-first culture and being as flexible as we can when time off is needed. Owners, Claire and Peter Matthews, gave glowing feedback, saying Tim and the team had delivered an excellent result, were very professional and had finished the job in time with little disruption to their business.
