Clever design throughout – including big windows, canopies over sheltered seating areas and interconnecting paths – make the most of the spectacular coastal views out to Kapiti Island and beyond. “We think this is right up there with one of the best vistas anywhere in the country,” Paul says. With this new 9500sqm village centre set to impress, residents are looking forward to exploring all of its inviting recreational facilities, from an exercise room, indoor swimming pool and spa and bowling green to resident bar, public café, chapel, cinema, and library. As well, the central hub includes a memory care centre, rest home and hospital-level care. “Our residents have seen the building grow exponentially over the past 18 months and have a keen interest in it. We’ve been updating them regularly on how it’s progressing. You can see the excitement level building as we get closer to our opening date, 9 March, 2026,” Paul says. “Kapiti Coast has become a desirable destination – people are drawn to the great climate and amazing views. “We’ve added a conservatory to the line-up of new facilities, too, providing yet another space where residents will be able to relax and enjoy the stunning views out to Kapiti Island.” With extensive planting, walkways and beautifully presented gardens right around the village, the setting is delightful. There are also plans to build a connection to the Kapiti Cycleway, linking up with wider recreational options in the area. Since Summerset Waikanae welcomed its first residents, the village has grown rapidly. Today, it is home to some 100 residents, who love the Summerset lifestyle by the coast. “The uptake rate here has been impressive. We’ve completed some 40 builds over the past year or so, with the village now 65% built.” Innovative new-home options developed for this village include Rimu Villas that blend apartment and villa-style living, with two ground-level and two upper-level homes accessed by a shared atrium. The spacious homes include large outdoor patios or balconies, and feature gorgeous corner windows in living areas or bedrooms. Totara Villas make the most of the village views and contour of the land, cleverly arranged with upper- and ground-level options, all well-designed for sun and views.         YOUR PROJECT PARTNER €          € ‚ ƒ„ƒ… ††… †„‡ ˆ ‚
