The home features the kitchen, living areas, master bedroom and bathroom upstairs, taking advantage of the outlook, while the lower level includes additional bedrooms, laundry, and garage space. A residential elevator connects the two floors, allowing the owners to comfortably enjoy their home well into the future. Shaun says the project was an exciting challenge, requiring careful coordination between suppliers, trades, and the construction team. “We had to make sure everyone worked together for the lift shaft. It has a large piston that goes three metres into the ground, so we had to drill down and prepare everything below the foundations with a very small margin for error.” The elevator was installed near the end of the build, requiring precision to ensure everything was completed perfectly. Shaun believes features like residential elevators will become increasingly popular as homeowners look for ways to future-proof their properties, particularly on smaller sections where multi-level designs provide optimal views and great flexibility. “People often think an elevator is going to cost $100,000, but they are much more cost-effective than people realise. Once people understand what is possible, it opens up more options.” Latitude Homes is now undertaking a wider brand refresh, with updated branding and marketing initiatives underway as the company continues to build momentum nationwide. Shaun says while the building industry has seen varying levels of activity, Latitude Homes has continued to perform strongly across its network. “Latitude Homes across the board seems to be doing pretty well. It’s good for myself and the other branches, giving us security and showing what we are doing is working.” He says the continued strength of the brand reflects the importance of delivering a quality experience for every homeowner. “It comes back to doing things properly, looking after clients, and making sure people enjoy the process. Building a home is a big decision, and when people finish with a home they love, that is the best outcome.”
