INTERIORS Team Fitout T T Bernadette Cooney “We aim to do the design justice through our sharp attention to detail and the personal relationships through the build.” In only a few short years, Team Fitout has established itself as a trusted name in the creation of commercial interiors that not only perform to perfection, but look beautiful too. Founded by Troy Stirling in early 2023, the family-owned business delivers high-quality fit-outs across retail, hospitality, and office spaces nationwide. A qualified and experienced joiner by trade, Troy spent 12 years managing the fit-outs of luxury superyachts around the world. That background shows in Team Fitout’s work today, in its precision, detail, and insistence on excellence. Troy established his company following more than a decade of commercial fit-out project- management experience for multi-award-winning projects across New Zealand. From Whitianga to Christchurch, Team Fitout has delivered stellar commercial interiors for a diverse range of sectors. From award-winning interiors, such as Loveless Friday in Ponsonby, to retail outlets within malls, Team Fitout has shown it can manage all aspects from early planning right through to handover. Working together with designers, architects, and business owners, the team’s approach is built around clarity, craftsmanship, and care, says company owner-director Troy Stirling. “We’re all about making the interiors construction simple, accurate and well-finished,” he says. “We aim to do the design justice through our sharp attention to detail and the personal relationships through the build. Our clients are part of the team.” Alongside Troy, senior site manager Sam Ralphs ably assists operations. “He’s a Northern Englishman with more than 20 years’ experience in fit-outs. I’ve worked with him for nine years now, and he is undoubtedly one of the best around. He’s very focused and two steps ahead on any project. We’re very lucky to have Sam on board,” says Troy. Team Fitout values its close network of subcontractors, including its partnership with Blueline Plumbing, led by Ben Weafer. “I’ve worked on 50 to 100 projects together with Blueline, and they are a talented team to work with. They can really problem solve on the most complex of projects,” Troy says. One notable example of this was their collaboration on the Kinfolk Café at Long Bay, Auckland – a tricky site above a car park that required plumbing and drainage solutions to run between levels and beneath the car park. Team Fitout’s work on Ponsonby’s Loveless Friday, a concept jewellery store, recently won a Golden Pin at the BEST Design Awards. “It’s not about chasing awards,” says Troy. “But we love doing the kind of jobs that win them. They push our creativity and craftsmanship to new levels.” Forté in Christchurch is another from Team Fitout – a considered showroom space featuring Muuro Wood panelling and custom-built furniture, designed and built for beauty and versatility in highlighting the Forté range of natural building products. Other commercial interiors from Team Fitout include Swarovski stores in Queen Street and at Mānawa Bay, Campari HQ, Basker Beach Kitchen in Whitianga, Majestic Tea and Rak Khun cocktail bar, plus, most recently LSKD Ponsonby and Hamilton. The team has also been active in mall developments across Auckland, including multiple tenancies within the new Mānawa Bay precinct, and Flint Restaurant and Daiso within Sylvia Park. 022 064 4317 admin@bluelineplumbing.co.nz www.bluelineplumbing.co.nz RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL PLUMBING UNDERFLOOR HEATING INSTALLERS REGISTERED GAS FITTERS SOLAR HOT WATER
