This will allow us to better support projects that are critical for New Zealand's marine infrastructure, climate adaptation, and resilience particularly around the coastal margins.” New Zealand's largest hydrographic surveying specialist, Discovery Marine began in the late 1990s when a former Royal New Zealand Navy hydrographic surveyor started undertaking commercial work around Auckland. It now employs a team of 15 specialist surveyors, support sta and boasts the largest team of certi ed hydrographic surveyors in the country. It is also the only New Zealand-owned company approved to provide hydrographic surveying services to the Australian Hydrographic O ce. “Our di erence is that we have the largest number of certi ed hydrographic surveyors in New Zealand, and that gives us a great deal of collective knowledge that contributes to all the projects we work on.” Discovery Marine provides a comprehensive range of surveying services across New Zealand, Australia and the South Paci c.
