Andrew says the agricultural landscape was simultaneously evolving, and NSVets adapted accordingly. Originally focused on sheep, beef cattle, and working dogs - the traditional backbone of southern farming - it expanded its expertise as dairy farming and deer farming established themselves in the district. The region’s strong equine tradition, particularly around stud work and reproduction, also became a significant part of the practice’s portfolio.
