Undertaken by WFH Properties, Pembroke Heights is contributing to a diversity of housing opportunities in the Upper Clutha. Pembroke Heights sits on a 37.2ha site within Wanaka’s Northlake Special Zone, on the northern slopes of the town off Aubrey Road. Pembroke Heights is selling through Bayleys Wanaka and follows the success of the first two stages, released in late 2023, which have also sold out and together comprised 74 lots. Bayleys Wanaka says buyers arriving at Pembroke Heights represent three broad groups — locals trading up from older Wanaka homes, those purchasing holiday homes with an eye on eventual retirement and speculative builders from Queenstown and Christchurch who are attracted by the site’s strong fundamentals. • Central Otago • Queenstown Lakes PH: 0800 420 004 benchmarkconstruction.co.nz Your local experts for CIVIL PROJECTS Proud to work with Fulton Hogan. The zone was designated by Queenstown Lakes District Council in 2016 to provide for a predominantly residential, mixed-use neighbourhood, and the full build-out of Pembroke Heights is expected to deliver around 390 lots across as many as eight stages, though that figure is yet to be confirmed. WFH Properties submitted a resource consent application for Stages Three through Seven earlier this year, and the council has already approved bulk earthworks for those stages. It is currently vetting the full resource consent application.
