Superior is preparing to launch Superior One, a fully integrated digital management system developed in partnership with Precision Farming Limited. The platform brings together planning, ordering, technical advice, supply chain execution, digital verification, and compliance reporting into one accountable system. “It’s a powerful tool for us and our clients, giving farmers access to all their nutrient information in one place,” Craig says. Set to go live on June 1 for the upcoming season, Superior One is designed to simplify what can often be a complex and timeconsuming process, while helping farmers stay on top of compliance requirements. For 25 years, Superior has manufactured customised fertiliser blends from its Mosgiel plant, adapting to ongoing challenges within the rural sector. More recently, global supply pressures — including instability in the Middle East — have created new challenges for the fertiliser industry. While much of the world’s nitrogen supply originates from the Gulf region, Superior has built long-standing relationships with a diverse range of international suppliers to ensure continuity. “The Middle East is a key supplier, but we’ve developed strong global partnerships over time giving us options to navigate current supply challenges and ensure confidence in our spring supply.” With increasing compliance requirements, tighter environmental expectations, and ongoing cost pressures such as high diesel prices, farmers are focused on ensuring every dollar spent delivers a measurable on-farm return. “Farmers are being careful with their spending, so it’s important we’re as efficient, and effective as possible and continue finding ways to support them.” Customisation remains central to Superior’s approach, with solutions tailored to individual farming operations and budgets.
