The Wide Span Sheds South Island franchise started in Ashburton on a dairy farm when a need for steel sheds in the region was identified. The founders then moved from dairy farming to supplying sheds. Launched five years ago, Cohesive Construction expanded the group’s ability to deliver projects of very different scales. It has since completed more than 2000 projects, and has eight regional offices nationwide. The company was also ranked among New Zealand’s top 50 builders last year, and has won numerous New Zealand Commercial Project Awards. For South Island Wide Span customers this means the same company relationship can extend from the initial shed design and supply through to construction. “Cohesive Construction has an internal team that can look after design, engineering, consent and any architectural needs, meaning the same team looks after the project the whole way through the process,” Ayesha says. “We can build everything from a garage through to a $20 million distribution facility.
