The primarily north-facing apartments maximise natural light, while maintaining privacy within the four-building community design by Brewer Davidson Architects. The Mt Albert location also offers significant connectivity advantages, with the CBD just 15 minutes away by car, and Mt Albert train station accessible within a 10-minute bike ride. The Waterview Tunnel provides direct airport access, and nearby amenities include Ōwairaka Kindergarten, Ōwairaka District School and the Ōwairaka Athletics Club. Modern sustainability features distinguishing the development include a community-shared electric vehicle, secure e-bike charging facilities, and rainwater harvesting systems. There are even dog wash stations. Ido says the amenities reflect growing demand for environmentally conscious urban living. Elaman’s approach reflects what Ido calls “the Elaman way” – a methodology that encompasses everything from self-leadership to relationship management and community impact. We have taken the same approach to share our learnings and growth to help solve New Zealand’s housing problem,” explains Ido. “It’s not a view of competition – it’s about sharing learnings. “At Elaman, we are inspired by other developers who deliver high-quality housing and take a generous approach, giving back by creating a high-spec home at a great price point.” He says Olympus has already generated strong market interest since its launch, with several apartments purchased during the initial marketing phase. Construction is well underway, with completion scheduled for December 2025 and residents able to move in by early 2026. Olympus represents just one element of Elaman’s expanding Auckland portfolio. The company has recently completed a significant project for Kāinga Ora in Birkenhead, delivering 15 one-bedroom apartments that demonstrate its commitment to social housing alongside market developments. The Birkenhead project, designed by SGA architects with engineering by DHC and services by 2KO Engineering, showcases the company’s capability in delivering quality housing for diverse client needs. Elaman is developing 25 terraces in Oranga, Onehunga, currently under construction and featuring two- to three-bedroom options, which will be launched on to the market later this year. This development further expands the company’s presence in Auckland’s southern suburbs, providing additional affordable housing options for families and first-time buyers. The company’s ambitious growth trajectory continues with the recent acquisition of a substantial Morningside site, where it plans to construct 110 apartments.
