The development also incorporates extensive wetlands, native bush plantings and walkways designed to minimise ecological impact and maximise residents’ connection to nature. The positioning of the homes within this natural landscape has also been undertaken with a great deal of thought. “Nothing has been left to chance when it comes to a modern, healthy lifestyle,” says Greg. “Each house site has been carefully positioned to provide families with ample sunshine and warmth, sociability and seclusion.” Innovation features prominently in the development approach. Jessie Developments will provide building envelopes – accurate 3D models showing the exact space available for each home, prior to building consent. Greg says this technology aims to streamline the consent process as well as protect the development’s overall quality. Local partners, such as civil contractor Earthworx, have played a prominent part in bringing the development to fruition. Residential sections range from 300 to 2200sqm, with all sites including wastewater, water and power connections. Architectural guidelines have been established to protect investment values as well as support design freedom to give the development a great look and feel for residents.
