Bayleys Group - Waikato T T Anne Boswell “An important component of our strategy is the coming together of our commercial teams,” PROPERTY A bold new chapter is underway in Waikato real estate, with Realty Group uniting its regional operations under the Bayleys name to supercharge growth and simplify its market presence. From May 1, 2025, the EVES residential sales business in Waikato has officially rebranded to Bayleys, followed by the EVES Property Management division on June 1. The move brings together two of the region’s most trusted names, combining EVES’ local knowledge with Bayleys’ national and global reach. “Hamilton is a key strategic market for us – it’s one of the fastest-growing cities in New Zealand, but also one of the most competitive,” CEO of Realty Group Heath Young says. “By bringing our Waikato teams together under the Bayleys brand, we can focus our efforts and streamline our operations. Combining the strengths and successes of EVES with the nationwide reach, support and capability of Bayleys ultimately enables us to deliver even more value to our clients.” The transition has been seamless, with no office closures and all EVES Waikato staff continuing in their roles under the new banner. Clients can expect business as usual – with the added benefit of Bayleys’ market-leading systems, technology and marketing. “An important component of our strategy is the coming together of our commercial teams,” Bayleys director of commercial David Cashmore says. “Our sales and leasing team, our valuation team, and our property services team are now all under one roof in a newly branded commercial hub at 1030 Victoria Street.” Bayleys Waikato regional manager Sean Foster, who will remain in his leadership position overseeing the integration, say it is an exciting new chapter for Bayleys. “We’ve built a trusted reputation under the EVES name, and we now look forward to building on that with the added strength, national profile and global reach that Bayleys brings,” he says. “Our focus remains the same – delivering the best results for our clients.” Bayleys, which operates more than 100 offices nationwide with over 2000 staff, offers expertise across residential, commercial, rural and lifestyle property. The addition of the EVES Waikato team under the Bayleys brand strengthens the company’s already well-established presence in the region. “We’re thrilled to welcome the EVES Waikato team into the Bayleys family,” Bayleys’ director of business development Stephen Shale says. “Bayleys has long had a strong foothold in the region. By consolidating our efforts, we’re creating an even greater resource for Hamilton’s evolving residential market and unlocking new opportunities for clients and salespeople alike.” Importantly, this brand realignment applies only to the Waikato. EVES will continue to operate as a key brand within Realty Group’s dual-brand strategy in the Bay of Plenty and through its franchise network. “EVES remains a vital part of our business,” Heath says. “We are immensely proud of the EVES brand and the legacy it has built. In the Bay of Plenty, EVES and Bayleys together have established an unrivalled market position, and we remain committed to supporting and growing both brands in that region and beyond.” “This move is about local strategy – aligning our approach to best meet the needs and opportunities of each market.” 0800 847 4253 www.signprint.co.nz info@signprint.co.nz Signprint - Real Estate Signage Experts For over 20 years, Signprint has been the trusted signage partner for Bayleys and other top real estate agencies across the Waikato.
